Cool pics. I've always wanted to go there to DC and the area right around it, I've never been yet.

I love the Delaware sign. "Hi, I'm in Delaware." hahahaha! wayne's world rules.

Yep, the second I drove into Delaware on Thursday I thought of that and I have been saying it ever since. I said it when I left Philadelphia on Friday and on Sunday when I went to the beach. I kept text messaging people and e-mailing it to them. They probably think I am lame, but I am still chuckling :) Party on Wayne! Party on Garth!

Andrea--Lovely pictures! I particularly like the one of the capitol building. And yes, I think that is the actual Apollo 11 command module. Neat!

While you're down here, we'll have to take you to Space Center Houston sometime when you have a day off.

*starts thinking of neat places to take you.* (g)

Yep. All the things in the National Air and Space Museum are the real deal. I just can't remember what lunar module that is. but Apollo 11 is really the first thing to carry men to the moon. Very cool stuff.

I'd love to go to the Space Center in Houston :) I went to the one in Florida where they do the launches and it was super cool.

i've been those places. every time i drove through delaware i said 'hi, i'm in delaware'. coincidentally, aurora is the town next to the one i grew up in. made me laugh a lot. are you at ocean city in the beach pictures?

I was at Delaware Seashore State Park, which is just south of Dewey Beach. I ate shrimp in Dewey Beach and I drove around forever in Rehoboth Beach looking for a place to park. Which is why I went to the state park instead, even though it was $8. My back is sunburned a bit, but it doesn't hurt. Ocean Beach was another half hour south of where I was. Consequently, the speed limit in Delaware is only 55, which is ridiculous.

You grew up near Aurora? See, I grew up in the NW burbs. Round Lake Beach, Algonquin, and Buffalo Grove. I miss Chicagoland, but not the winters.
